Christine Acosta, O.D.

Dr. Acosta is passionate about pediatrics, ocular pathology, and neurophthalmology. Get to know her below.

Dr. Acosta received her Bachelor of Science in Biology at the University of Houston. She then went on to the University of Houston College of Optometry where she earned her Doctorate of Optometry. She completed her externship training at the Eye Center of Texas, Good Neighbor Health Center, the San Jose Clinic, and The Institute for Rehabilitation and Research.

Dr. Acosta has received training in contact lenses, pediatrics, ocular pathology, low vision, and neurophthalmology. She participated in a research fellowship with the National Eye Institute, taught pre-optometry students in the Texas Optometry Careers Opportunity Program, and volunteered in vision screenings with Prevent Blindness. She is also fluent in Spanish.
