We Love What We Do!

We love our patients! During each visit, we have the opportunity to not only treat your vision, but also to get to know you a little bit better.

This month, we want to give you the same opportunity! We’d like to share with you why we love our job.

What We Love About Our Job

From Shelby: Teaching younger kids how to put in contacts for the first time. I love this part of my job because I get to have one on one time with the patient keeping them positive, and teach them something that can be very scary to them. The look on their face when they finally get the lens in and can see with out glasses is something special!

From Priscilla: My favorite part of my job is being able to help people. Everyone comes in for a different reason and I feel like I can make a difference one patient at a time.

From Brittany, who is trained as a Patient Care Coordinator and an Optometric Assistant: I love helping out multiple departments, each one brings something important to the table. Reception is the backbone for starting and finishing every encounter we have, and being an Optometric Assistant I get to be hands on with every patient and I love that personal interaction with each of them!

From Liz: I have a family history of glaucoma, and respected from a young age the importance of good eye health. I love being an optometric assistant because I can help educate patients on the importance of annual comprehensive eye exams, and I can help make the process of all exams as calm and thorough as possible.

In addition to loving what we do, we love being part of the Vision Source® team. Here are a couple of reasons why we’re proud to be in the Vision Source family:

From Gil: [I love] the staff and my VS family. We give the best customer service no matter what’s going with our own lives and we rise above and put the patient first every time.

From Valerie M: We provide a quality service and product to our customers.

Our jobs make us this happy:
